A Brief Bio

As an independent marketing researcher, I have designed studies, conducted focus groups and IDIs, performed statistical analyses, written reports, and directed projects. My clients have included research companies, advertising agencies, corporate marketing departments, and nonprofit organizations.

The yin-yang symbol represents: (1) my expertise in both psychology and marketing, and (2) the integration of qualitative and quantitative methods. By keeping current in these areas, I can tailor the most efficient project for the client’s needs. I take pride in uncovering all the key information and in delivering outstanding insights for marketing decisions.

I have been an independent consultant since 1993. During 1983 - 1993, I did part-time research consulting while teaching marketing and psychology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and serving as Associate Director of the University's Center for Business and Industrial Studies.

I started consulting for research companies when I was still teaching.  Since 1997, most of my work has been as a subcontract moderator for pharmaceutical and other marketing research firms.
